The staff were cheery, the bed was very comfy and the food was excellent. Walking distance to shops and the main shopping centre across the street. Excellent services. Lovely garden outside.

Good value against other hotels in Whitby. Everything was brand-new, had a truly memorable stay. There was an amazing restaurant, the shops and the main shopping centre next door. Fantastic own beach, that was what we enjoyed. It was nice having iron/ironing board and tea/coffee:)))

It was good value, authentic and appropriate room. Always pleasant staff and a generous breakfast. Very pretty location and very convenient area. Panoramic view, a lovely balcony, really big bed, too. They made my stay exceptional. Very good facilities and the pool was clean.

Leaking bathroom, Wi-Fi was very spotty.

passage to india, where you can eat, is easy walk to the hotel. a best base for exploring whitby. we loved overdale guest house.
